The Perfect Puzzle Pieces

Today Jax coughed in the shower, and before I had a chance to say, "Are you okay?" he hollered, "Yes."

I don't know if he heard me say it in his head because it is my almost instant question with a deep crackly cough, or if he just anticipated it. Every now and then after a big cough, a crash or other such disturbing noise out of my line of sight, he yells, "I'm okay!" anticipating my question.

As mother and child we fit together like hand in glove - in our daily rhythms and routines, our language, and physically when we snuggle up on the couch, when he is on my lap to get his shoes on, and when we snuggled cheeks while he got his hair cut today.

It is magical and I LOVE IT!
