We have come a long way since day 1 of heading straight for the motorcycle and ignoring the other kids, telling me later he did not need any new friends - that he had enough already.
Today Jax handed me his coat, and went straight to the end of the table where several kids were already playing with playdo. His buddy Tyler called him over to where HE was sitting, and I had to interrupt them to get a goodbye.
He is doing great and I am so proud of him. He seems to be quite at home with his school, his teachers, and his new friends.
